Budapest will be playing the following UK dates: August 2nd - Colosseum - Coventry August 4th - Joiners Arms - Southampton *** JOINERS GIG CANCELLED *** At the Southampton Joiners show, Budapest will be supported by latest Easy Street signing The Honeymoon Machine. We are Pleased to announce that Budapest will be performing at a fringe event show at The Edingurgh Festival on 21st August. August 21st - The Underbelly - Edinburgh This event is in association with Forth FM, and other acts scheduled to play include The Coral, The Thrills, Ed Harcourt and The Mull Historical Society. In addition to the above show, preparations are currently being made for a UK tour for the band in support of the late July release of 'Wake Up Call'. Full details of the tour - which will be the first full tour of the UK undertaken by the band since September last year - will be posted here when all is confirmed. Also we are pleased to announce that Budapest will be performing on the opening night of the Benicassim Festival in Spain. 7th August - Benicassim Festival - Valencia, Spain The Benicassim Festival is the biggest international festival in Europe, and attracts top names every year. Other bands performing at the festival this year include: Beck, Badly Drawn Boy, Blur, The Flaming Lips and Suede. More information about Benicassim can be found on the official site here.
